SmartPartsDetector – Optical Parts Recognition using Deep Learning

We’re happy and excited to announce our SmartPartsDetector project is one of the 14 FSTPs to be funded by the SHOP4CF EU project.

Algolysis Ltd and ENGINO-NET Limited have teamed up to design and implement SmartPartsDetector, a new component for the SHOP4CF project that enables manufacturing SMEs of small parts to optically identify their parts by leveraging state-of-the-art convolutional neural networks (CNN). This fundamental capability can then be used to assist and empower humans by devising a wide range of digital tools, e.g. production quality control software, staff training applications, etc.

3D Motion Search Engine proposal successful!

We are very pleased to announce that our project proposal Safeguarding the Cultural HEritage of Dance through Augmented Reality (SCHEDAR) to the JPICH Digital Heritage Call supporting transnational research has been one of the 8 successful proposals! The project has commenced in June 2018 and will run for 3 years. Our role in the project is to develop a motion search engine with the aim of subsequent commercial exploitation. DriveNest accelerated!

Algolysis Ltd. has secured research and innovation funding through the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Cyprus for furthering the implementation of DriveNest (www.drivenest.com), our predictive storage device monitoring service.
